Based in Los Angeles, Robert has worked for over a 15 Years as a freelance Director, Director of Photography, Lighting Director, Writer and Editor. In 2015 Robert completed his first feature film Completely Normal was accepted to over 20 festivals internationally and won four Best Feature awards and a host of other awards, such as Best Ensemble Cast and Best Cinematography, as well as garnering many other nominations, including Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Actress. The film was distributed on Amazon Prime in 2016. In 2017 Robert’s second film “Nowhere, Michigan” premiered at the New York City Independent Film festival and has been accepted to over 25 Film Festivals internationally and has won a number of awards including Best Feature,  Best Actors, Best Cinematography and Best Director. Nowhere Michigan has been picked up by Gravitas Ventures for distribution in early 2019.  Clients have included : NBC, Sony, Sesame Street, Food Network and numerous others.

Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies and Production from Hofstra University where he was the School of Communications Film Student of Year and winner of Best in Show and Best Cinematography for his thesis film Ellipsis.
